I think the longest part of this assignment was just the editing of the photos. I thought this was going to take a lot longer than it really did but it actually was pretty easy. I really enjoy when the lectures are online since i can follow at my own pace and see exactly how to do everything. I like using after effects alot more now and i also enjoy using premiere pro. Learning the different techniques is really fun to me and it was hard for me to find other tutorials in after effects to learn as well as premiere pro. I like how this one turned out and my parents got to be the lucky subjects of this assignment but the only thing i didn't like was that i couldnt get rid of the jitter in the pictures for some reason. Overall i really like how it turned out.

This assignment required us to either create 5 images in photoshop that we were able to see with 3d glasses. It was hard at first trying to find a way that they would work without taking two identical pictures with a slight shift in them but i found a way to do it using a single image. I found out that when u change the perspective of the image and turn the red channel off and shift it around a bit it works. The other thing i learned was that if the subject is cut off from the edge of the photo it doesn't work in 3d as well but it works enough. I thought this one came out decent althought the peacock was off the frame so it doesn't seem as 3d as the other photos.

I am really glad we got to choose a tutorial to follow. It was hard finding one that was for photoshop since it's my favorite program. I was originally going to do a tutorial in 3D coat but the one i really liked required the full version of the program to access all the tools so i couldn't do it from home. So i decided to find a photoshop one and found this one. It really took a while since i had to draw everything with the pen tool and what not but overall it was a really nice tutorial to learn how to do. I am very happy with the way it turned out in the end.

I actually liked doing this assignment. I think the hardest part was trying to find a topic to create it from. I think it went really well in making it and i learned a bit more about flash so i don't hate it as much anymore :). I am actually proud of how this one turned out and am glad that Brian assigned this one as much as i was not looking forward to using flash. Overall this is one of my favorites.
